2023 Was a Community Building Year!

  • StarsUganda was recognized by the government of Uganda for our positive impact in the community by granting us a 5-year license to continue providing this vital social service to the needy population

  • Established a family rescue program, which includes vocational training and micro loan programs that empower families to support their children

  • Organized 3 health clinics that provided medical assessment and medicines to a total of 1000 patients (thanks to Starsuganda medical supporters from California and NYC)

Family Workshops

Every month, family members attend workshops in parenting, nutrition and health, hygiene, and the value of life, among other topics. This education is critical to prepare them for reunification with their children and benefits the community as a whole.

Community Development

We installed water tanks in communities lacking safe water. Thanks to CADENAS International, we also installed 100 water filters in Kissima I and II, Soheto, Masese and Jinja. Poor water conditions is one of the main causes of skin illness, diarrhea, TB.
